Event Details
This craft program will be presented by the Kawambe-Omowale African Drum and Dance Theatre. You will be able to decorate your calabash bowl to stand out from all others! Off the vine and dried, these "gourd Family" bowls hold hearty meals. The Ga People of Ghana, West Africa might bring their decorated bowl to a community fathering, filling it with tasty friend plantains or delicious curried stews. Adorn your bowl any way you'd like.
