Discuss Barbara Kingsolver's powerful novel "Demon Copperhead," a modern retelling of Dickens' "David Copperfield" set in Appalachia during the opioid crisis. As we explore themes of resilience, poverty, and survival, we'll create copper-colored skeleton key charms—symbolic reminders of unlocking hope and finding strength through adversity. All materials provided.
