Program Description
Event Details
What has a dome shaped shell, lays eggs, and is a bit faster than a snail? If you guessed a tortoise, you're right! Wildlife experts from the Arizona Game and Fish Department along with our friends from the Glendale Water Conservation Department are joining us to talk about these slow and steady reptiles, their environment, favorite food, and survival skills. We will also learn about what it takes to adopt a captive desert tortoise from Arizona Game and Fish. First come, first served.
