Program Description

Event Details

Phoenix-based singer-songwriter Annie Moscow brings an evening of original music to the Glendale Library. Joined by Wesley Skinner on violin and Vanessa Purdy on back-up vocals, Annie’s performance blends jazz, rock, and Americana in a style that is both soulful and unexpected.

After beginning her career as a pianist and achieving success as a songwriter for artists including Sarah Vaughn and Kathy Sledge, Annie stepped into the spotlight as a solo performer in 2001. Her distinctive voice and vivid storytelling create a captivating musical journey.

Violinist Wesley Skinner, currently completing his CMA at Arizona State University, is a prizewinner of the Cleveland Institute of Music and ASU Concerto Competitions and a founding member of the Laniakea String Quartet, which won first prize at the Sixth Hong Kong International Chamber Music Competition.

Vanessa Purdy, a longtime Arizona performer and respected voice teacher, brings rich harmonies and decades of stage experience to the ensemble.

Together, these accomplished artists promise a memorable evening of artistry, collaboration, and song.
