Live @ the Library: Retrospect - A Jazz and Retro Pop Ensemble

Retrospect brings together five of the Valley’s finest and most seasoned musicians in a fresh, heartfelt project that blends the sophistication of jazz with the timeless melodies many of us grew up loving. Though each member has spent decades immersed in the jazz tradition, the group is inspired to reconnect audiences—especially the Baby Boomer generation—with the familiar songs and iconic artists that shaped a musical era.

Drawing from the works of Joni Mitchell, Carole King, the Beatles, and the great jazz standards, Retrospect creates a warm, engaging sound that is both nostalgic and newly reimagined. Their performances celebrate the artistry of the past while exploring new possibilities within a jazz-infused lens.
