Come join us in celebration of Native American Cultural History. Learn basic Native American drumming strokes and rhythms in 7 directions. Experience the joy of playing Native American Hoop drums and Powwow drums. Learn a Native song and dance in this interactive workshop. Everyone is welcome! All instruments provided. No experience necessary. Come make music and have fun as we celebrate Native American Culture through Drumming.
This program will be facilitated by Dr. Lydia A. Woods, a retired college professor of African-Native American heritage and the Founder & CEO of Drum Arizona Inc.
Registration is required. Please plan to arrive on time, since workshop begins promptly.
