Velma's Clues Cozy Mystery Book Club: Meet Your Baker by Ellie Alexander

We continue our Cozy Mystery Book Club. Every month the club reads a cozy mystery that is the first one in a series. You may come in person to the program, or attend virtually using Microsoft Teams. Contact Judy Coon to get the Team sign-in information. This month's selection is Meet Your Baker by Ellie Alexander This is the first book in the Bakeshop Mystery Series.

Juliet Capshaw is a pastry chef on a cruise ship. When things gets tense with her chef husband, she decides to visit family in Ashland, Oregon and help out in the family bake shop for a while. Ashland is known for its summer Shakespeare Festival, and who doesn't love a culinary cozy mystery. Of course there is a murder and Jules will help to solve it. There are lots of mostly good characters to develop, interesting asides about the Shakespeare Festival, and recipes to add to your enjoyment.
