Program Description

Event Details

Whether you like it or not, AI is here. With it comes a lot of questions, especially how it will impact the future of writing, publishing, and creativity. While no one can say for sure what the future holds, we can speculate based on today’s tools and developments. Bring your questions and let’s have a conversation about how, as creatives, we can best navigate an AI-driven world. Writers of all genres and skill levels are welcome.

Registration is not required.

AMY K. NICHOLS is the author of the YA science fiction Duplexity series (Now That You’re Here and While You Were Gone), published by Knopf Books for Young Readers. She worked with writers in the Your Novel Year program at the Virginia G. Piper Center for Creative Writing, leads writing workshops around the valley, and hosts a curated writing community online. Insatiably curious, she dabbles in everything from art to quantum physics and is thrilled to serve as a Writer in Residence with the Glendale Public Library.
