Event Details

The West Valley Astronomy Club (WVAC) will host an Astronomy Event at the Glendale Library from 5 to 8 pm on November 24th. The activities will start with a presentation on the Moon from 5 to 5:30 pm. This is followed by viewing night sky objects through several telescopes from 5:30 to 8 pm. Possible objects are the Moon, Jupiter, Saturn and the Andromeda Galaxy. The Moon presentation will cover the origin of the moon, how the Moon causes Solar and Lunar eclipses, and other interesting facts about the Moon and how it affects life on Earth.
