 ther writers. All skill levels and types of writing are welcome - a book, 
 blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, song, poem, or even work. No on
 e will see what you've written (unless you ask them to) or give you u
 nsolicited advice. After a silent hour of writing, participants have time 
 to connect with other writers, discuss writing projects and hurdles, and s
 hare recommendations. Please bring along whatever you’ll need to write -
  earbuds, earplugs, laptop or tablet, notebook and pencil, etc.  Please 
 note:  Shut Up and Write! allows minors to participate only with supervi
 sion: We know that minors also love to write. We allow participation in o
 ur events by those under 18 years of age with the supervision of a parent 
 or guardian present during the Shut Up & Write! activity.
