DESCRIPTION:Las Posadas is a yearly tradition celebrated by those in Latin
  America and in the United States between December 16-24. In this hands-on
  program, tweens will discover the history behind this holiday and learn a
 bout the cultural significance of poinsettias and piñatas while making th
 eir own festive piñata to take home to continue the festivities. This pro
 gram is intended for children ages 9-11, though those younger may particip
 ate with the assistance of an adult.
