Event Details
Discover the power of your own voice and transform your memories, dreams, and experiences into a unique theatrical performance. Through guided exercises, writing, movement, and collaboration, you'll explore your creativity, connect with others, and share your stories on stage. This workshop is designed to be adaptable to participants' skill levels and interests. A welcoming and supportive atmosphere encourages exploration and self-discovery.
During week 5, participants will begin performance preparation by creating soundscapes and spoken word
pieces inspired by their letters and workshop themes, as well as engage in activities to refine performance elements and explore different performance styles.
This series will culminate in a Celebratory Showcase, Transforming Dreams into Shared Reality, on Saturday, November 9, from 2-3 p.m.
These workshops and their culminating performance support all members of our community, including the neurodivergent and differently abled.
