Writers Salon

Enjoy a Q&A with local author Shayla Dugan, followed by a meet and greet where you will have the opportunity to connect with like-minded souls, snack on some light refreshments, and talk shop with other aspiring writers. Looking to form a critique group? Needing prompts for writing? Interested in publishing your own novel? Come to the salon for inspiration.  This low-key soiree is open to all aspiring writers. 

Shayla Dugan is a writer and former social worker who made her fiction novel debut with Learning to Swim.  She enjoys writing both fiction and non-fiction "slice of life" stories full of humor and heart. Shayla is an Arizona native who resides with her husband in their nearly empty nest. She spends her time replacing the roles of her adult children with dogs and relishing visits with her young grandchildren.
